Wiggly Feet is lucky to interact with children from all over the world, and we are thankful for this opportunity. We are blessed to be in a position where we can donate to charities whose moral compass aligns with our own. We look to support charities who believe in equality for all, and who look to lift others when they are in need. We want our money to be used to enrich other’s lives, and provide assistance for those who need it.

Plan International
From their website: Plan International Canada works for and with children, community members and governments so that all children around the world can exercise their rights. We do this by focusing on eight core areas, with gender equality as a foundational objective. Our work seeks to tackle the root causes of gender inequality and remove barriers that keep children, especially girls from reaching their full potential.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities

When families learn their child is sick and must be hospitalized, life as they know it changes overnight. Families embark on what is an often unexpected and difficult journey full of uncertainty, worry, fear and hope.
Most Canadians don’t live near a children’s hospital
65% of Canadians live outside of a city with a children’s hospital. So, if their child gets sick, families must travel long distances for their child to receive medical treatment. Families are forced to leave their homes, families, jobs and community support at a time when they need them the most, often causing significant emotional and financial stress.
When the unimaginable happens, RMHC is there.
Today, RMHC is part of the fabric of Canada’s paediatric health care system. Across Canada, RMHC’s 34 programs provide families with a sick child with a home to stay at where they can sleep, share meals, do laundry, and connect with other families, making their journey a little easier.
